Production/Region Manager

ADDISON, TX

Position Summary:

The Production/Region Manager is responsible for leading day-to-day field operations across assigned production areas. This role ensures safe, reliable, and cost-effective production by managing Superintendents, Foreman, and field staff while aligning regional activities with corporate goals. The Production/Region Manager serves as the key link between executive leadership and field operations, driving performance improvements, ensuring compliance, and optimizing asset value.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • -Lead, coach, and develop Superintendents, Foreman, and field personnel within assigned region.
  • -Implement corporate operational strategies at the region level, balancing production targets, safety performance, and cost control.
  • -Collaborate with Engineering and Reservoir teams to support well performance optimization, artificial lift strategies, and facility reliability.
  • -Monitor daily production, downtime, and variances, ensuring accurate reporting and proactive issue resolution.
  • -Ensure compliance with all applicable HSE and regulatory requirements.
  • -Manage regional budgets, approve expenditures, and monitor operating efficiency.
  • -Build strong relationships with landowners, local communities, and regulatory agencies.
  • -Support acquisitions, divestitures, and new project integration at the field level.
  • -Act as primary point of contact for the Vice President, Operations on regional performance and needs. 

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or equivalent industry experience may be considered.
  • 7+ years of upstream oil & gas experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Strong knowledge of production operations, artificial lift systems, and facility operations.
  • Demonstrated success in managing multi-disciplinary field teams and budgets.

Preferred:

  •  2+ years of Drilling Experience
  • Well Control Certification
  • Advanced Technical Knowledge of Drilling & Completion practices.

Work Environment

  •  Office setting with frequent travel to field sites, production facilities, and vendor locations. including driving company or rental vehicles.

  • Exposure to field conditions including noise, dust, extreme temperatures, and inclement weather.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required at all times in designated areas.
