Oil & Gas Marketing Manager

About Foundation:

Foundation Energy Management, LLC is an oil and gas exploration and production company headquartered in Addison, TX.  We operate and manage producing properties located across multiple basins for our institutional limited partners. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Drafts, reviews, negotiates, manages, and gathers transportation, processing, and purchasing contracts for gas, NGLs, and crude oil.
  • Provides analytical support to the finance team through intensive research and analysis. This will include maintaining and/or constructing economic models.
  • Identifies new commercial opportunities by monitoring key trends and market conditions.
  • Collaborates with internal departments on sales and purchase invoice reconciliation.
  • Assists the Finance Team in hedging strategy development.
  • Translate strategic intent into actionable tactics and projects, and lead projects associated with the market and commercialization.
  • Manages crude and gas pipeline nominations as necessary and associated invoicing.
  • Creates routine and ad-hoc reports and provides financial, operational, and/or forecasted data recommendations.
  • Works with all areas of the company to analyze and disseminate market information to senior management, financial, legal, and operational departments.
  • Complies with all the Company's Safety and Environmental policies, practices, and programs. Takes corrective action within training limitations. Escalates as necessary.
  • Participates in and adheres to all training programs designed to enhance HSE knowledge, safety standards, and job performance.

  • Strong ability to work in a consultative manner with every level of internal / external staff / contacts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, strong analytical skills, and high level of initiative.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in business-related field, math, engineering, accounting, or energy management required.

  • 5+ years in marketing related position within the oil and gas industry preferred.
  • Experience with natural gas marketing and scheduling.
