Oilfield Mechanic
Position Summary:
The Oilfield Mechanic II independently performs routine maintenance and mid-level repairs on oilfield
equipment including engines, pumps, separators, and compressors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical problems with minimal supervision.
- Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Maintain accurate service records and work orders.
- Mentor junior mechanics.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years of mechanical experience, preferably oilfield.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing rotating equipment.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Preferred:
- Technical certificate in diesel, heavy equipment, or mechanical trades.
Skills & Competencies:
- Intermediate troubleshooting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

- Exposure to field conditions including noise, dust, extreme temperatures, and inclement
weather.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required at all times in designated areas.
